Extreme Reach Receives $50M Investment from Spectrum Equity

Extreme Reach Inc., a Needham, Mass.-based provider of a video platform for integrated TV, online and mobile advertising, received a $50m investment from Spectrum Equity.

Spectrum will take a minority stake in the company. In conjunction with the investment, Jim Quagliaroli and Jake Heller, Managing Director and Vice President at Spectrum Equity, respectively, joined Extreme Reach’s Board of Directors

The company intends to use the proceeds to continue to grow and expand the cross-media capabilities of their platform, organically and through acquisitions.

Led by John Roland, Chairman and CEO, Extreme Reach provides cross-media video advertising solutions that span TV, Web, Mobile and all other video media. The company’s video platform aims to enable the management, delivery and measurement of multi-screen advertising campaigns. It serves more than 3,000 advertisers and ad agencies, including the world’s largest retail, beverage and automotive brands.
Extreme Reach has 225 employees in its headquartersd and offices in New York, Chicago, Burbank, Detroit, San Francisco, Dallas, Seattle, Louisville and Toronto.
