JumpStart Inc. provided the funds.
The company intends to use the funds to grow sales and online marketing efforts, as well as to develop its website and other solutions.
Founded by Mike Belsito, eFuneral provides people thinking about end-of-life with free tools and support to make informed funeral decisions for their budget.
Tools include a service to compare funeral home prices and reviews, and an educational resource center with topical articles and video. The company has also developed partnerships with external organizations to connect interested users with estate planners, insurance companies, funeral homes and cemeteries, as well as companies that can facilitate funeral financing.
