Dyn Acquires Trendslide

Dyn, a Manchester N.H.-based Internet Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) leader, acquired Trendslide, a mobile dashboard app startup.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The Trendslide app aggregates data from the websites and apps users already use, and presents a simple graph to provide them a view of key metrics.
The acquisition, which follows the purchase of Verelo in late 2012 (read here), aims to expands Dyn’s services to include mobile data and analytics offerings for online businesses. The company plans to integrate 3rd party services like Gomez, New Relic, Thousand Eyes, Catchpoint, Keynote, Nagios and more, along with historical DNS and Email data, into Trendslide.
Trendslide’s co-Founder, Benjamin Petrin, will join Dyn as a Lead Developer, Tools, with a focus on innovative mobile experiences for Dyn customers.

Incorporated in 2001, Dyn provides Managed DNS, Traffic Management, Email Delivery & Email Reporting solutions to more than four million enterprise, small business and personal users. It raised 38m in Series A funding in October 2012 (read here).
