CoTap Raises $5.5M in Series A Funding

CoTap, a San Francisco-based workplace mobile messaging startup, raised $5.5m in Series A funding.

Backers included Charles River Ventures and Emergence Capital.

The company will use the funds to hire iOS, Android, and Rails engineers to build its tools.

Co-founded by Jim Patterson and Zack Parker, CoTap aims to simplify mobile communication in the workplace to help people communicate at work, whether they’re knowledge workers or line workers.
