Thumb Labs, a NYC-based mobile software development company, has been acqui-hired by Adobe (NASDAQ: ADBE)
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Co-founded in 2009 by Jared Verdi and Rich Kern, Thumb Labs specializes in creating applications for iPhone & iOS Devices. Services include strategy, design, development, and maintenance for iOS and Android platforms.
In a joint letter, the co-founders said that over the next weeks they will be closely with clients to fulfill existing obligations, after which time Thumb Labs will no longer be offering their services with the team joining Adobe full-time.
