Watertronix Raises £150K in Funding

Watertronix Ltd, a UK-based developer of a new method for treating swimming pool water, raised £150k in funding.

The backer was venture capital fund manager Mercia Fund Management (MFM), via its Mercia Growth Fund 1.

The company intends to use the capital to roll out its system across public pools in the UK and the rest of Europe.

Watertronix provides a system for treating swimming pool water which eliminates chlorine and its disadvantages – including odours and stinging eyes – while keeping swimming pool water clean.
The company recently installed its first system in an international hotel chain pool in the UK.
