TST Media Closes $6M Series C Financing; Becomes Sport Ngin

TST Media, Inc., a Minneapolis, Minn.-based provider of web and mobile-based software solutions for youth, amateur and professional sports organizations, closed a $6m round of Series C financing.

The round was led by existing investor El Dorado Ventures.

The company, which has raised over $10m in funding since its launch in 2008, will use the funds to accelerate its product development, marketing and sales efforts in North America, and to make potential acquisition of complementary services and technologies that can expand its market presence and enhance its offerings.
One year ago, it acquired the Wisconsin Sports Network from TDS Telecom.

Led by Justin Kaufenberg, co-founder and CEO, TST Media also completed a corporate brand consolidation and will now be known as Sport Ngin, the same brand as its core software platform, which is now used by more than 100,000 sports teams, leagues, clubs, associations, tournaments, facilities and businesses worldwide. The company, which has nearly 120 full-time employees, offers a complete suite of tools that help sports organizations manage, connect, and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders including athletes, parents, administrators, coaches, referees, scouts, volunteers, fans, journalists, and sponsors.
