Somo, a London, UK-based independent mobile marketing company, raised funding from MMC Ventures‘ MMC London Fund.
The amount was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the capital to further expand and develop its licensed mobile technology products and platforms.
Led by Nick Hynes, co-founder and CEO, Somo provides strategy and innovation, creative and development, media planning and buying, data analysis and technology solutions.
The company, which also has offices in NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Singapore, also opened a second London office to house its team of 20 technology engineers, who will focus on the design and development of mobile ad tech and enterprise focused mobile products and platforms.
