Optimal Blue, a Plano, Texas-based mortgage technology provider, received a private equity investment from Serent Capital.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Founded in 2002 by Larry Huff and Ivan Darius, Optimal Blue provides web-based product eligibility and pricing engine, secondary marketing and compliance technology to the mortgage industry which aims to give lenders the ability to automate the management and distribution of their products, pricing and secondary marketing activities, enabling originators to then source, manage, price, lock and sell loans.
