Inquisitive Systems Raises £500K in Funding

Inquisitive Systems, an Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based provider of data protection software, raised £500k in funding.

Backers included angel syndicates Archangel (£270k) and TRI Cap (£70k), the Scottish Investment Bank (£100k) and other existing investors (£60k).

The company intends to use the capital to add resources to the development team and increase adoption of its ZoneFox among customers.

Led by founder and CEO Jamie Graves, Inquisitive Systems has developed data protection software that provides Intellectual Property protection from security breaches. It examines relevant data, providing immediate alerts, and full forensic user activity monitoring to protect reputation as well as critical business data.
