GetNinjas, a Brazilian startup that operates an online marketplace connecting people with service providers, raised US$3m in funding.
Backers included Otto Capital, and existing investors Monashees Capital and Kaszek Ventures.
With this new round of funding, GetNinjas will expand its development team to improve the platform, as well as to expand its sales and marketing efforts.
Launched in 2011 by Eduardo L’Hotellier, GetNinjas currently has a community of more than 25,000 service providers such as mechanics, personal stylists, photographers, designers, cleaning services providers, private teachers, home maintenance workers, etc.
