EndoEvolution, LLC, a North Chelmsford, MA USA-based developer of advanced automated suturing devices, closed a $5m Series C venture financing.
The round was led by current investor Spring Bay Companies.
Led by newly named President and Chief Executive Officer Ron Rudowsky with co-founder Jerry Brecher remaining involved with product development and clinical use initiatives, EndoEvolution provides automated suturing products with clinical effectiveness in a broad range of surgical procedures including bariatric, colorectal, and general surgery, as well as gynecology and urogynecology. Its advanced MIS (Minimally Invasive Surgery) automated suturing devices include the commercially available reusable Endo360°® MIS suturing device and in-development 5mm EndoTransformer™.
The company was also co-founded by Chief Technical Officer John Meade.
