Alpha Payments Cloud Raises $12M in Funding

Alpha Payments Cloud, a Singapore-based payments-focused cloud-based IT firm, raised $12m in funding.

The backer was an unnamed angel investor.

The company intends to use the funds to develop its services.

Founded in 2011 and led by Oliver Rajic, CEO, Alpha Payments Cloud just launched an enterprise app store, which is designed to connect merchants, banks and payment products to one payments ecosystem and provide the tools to find, select, switch and combine products.

The company, which has offices in Dublin and New York City, aims to create an environment:
– for payment product developers to expand reach and revenue with access to global merchants as well as Asia-Pacific, EU and U.S.-based distribution channels;
– for merchants to access to a variety of payment products in more than 35 categories, including fraud, chargeback management and multi-currency acquiring.
– for banks to access to dozens of new products to service multi-national merchant volume across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
