Annapurna Ventures and Jupiter Venture Capital unified their efforts to create United Ventures, a venture capital firm, held the first close at €30m.
Backers included Fondo Italiano di Investimento, Fondazione Banco di Sardegna, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca, Banca Sella and Banca Patrimoni, as well as private investors such as Matteo Fago and Marco Corradino.
Led by Massimiliano Magrini and Paolo Gesess, the firm plans to raise €50m to invest in Small and Medium sized companies in the digital technology space.
