SynapDx Raises Investment from The Kraft Group

SynapDx Corporation, a Lexington, Mass.-based developer of laboratory diagnostic services for autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, secured an investment of undisclosed amount from The Kraft Group.

The company intends to use the funding for the ongoing clinical development of its blood-based autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnostic test, designed to help clinicians identify children with autism earlier than they do today.

Foxborough, Mass.-based The Kraft Group is the holding company for the Kraft family’s various businesses, with interests in paper and packaging manufacturing, sports and entertainment, real estate development and a portfolio of private equity investments.

founded in 2010 and kled by Stanley Lapidus, CEO, SynapDx recently received two investments: a $6m round (read here) in December 2012, and a $2m financing from LabCorp (read here).
