Phone.com Closes $2M Funding

Phone.com, Inc., a Newwark, NJ-based phone company, closed a $2m funding.

Backers included ff Venture Capital and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA). Other investors are San Diego-based hosting company TierraNet and serial entrepreneur Michael Mann.

The company intends to use the capital for customer acquisition and new technology development.

Founded in 2007 and led by President and CEO Ari Rabban, Phone.com is a cloud-based phone company focused on the needs of small business and entrepreneurs, providing standard, web, desktop and mobile solutions for their communication requirements.
