Omada Health Raises $4.7M in Series A Funding

Omada Health, a San Francisco, CA-based online provider of a diabetes prevention program for the general public, has raised $4.7m in Series A funding.

The round was led by U.S. Venture Partners, with participation from The Vertical Group, Founder Collective, NEA, TriplePoint Capital, Kapor Capital, and angel investors.

The company intends to use the capital for the commercial rollout of its flagship product Prevent and expand into new disease categories.

Co-founded by CEO Sean Duffy President Adrian James, and CTO Andrew Di Michele, Omada Health provides Prevent, a 16-week online diabetes prevention program for the general public, based on the landmark DPP clinical trial.
