Human Demand, a NYC-based mobile ad technology company that provides advertisers and developers with a view into their campaigns, closed a $900k Series A funding.
The round was led by Digital Entertainment Ventures (DEV) and the ARC Angel Fund, with participation from Empire Angel Group, Blackgate Ventures, TJNS Capital, and Human Demand CEO Howie Schwartz, who had funded the company in early 2012.
The company intends to use the capital to continue to grow the team and develop features of its self-serve Mobile DSP+DMP platform.
Launched in mid-2012, Human Demand provides advertisers with a Mobile DSP+DMP (Demand Side Platform + Data Management Platform), which is integrated with exchanges for Mobile RTB, Rich Media, and Mobile Pre-roll inventory. It lets ad players see the actual name of every single app/publisher they are advertising on and know what is actually performing.
