Festicket Raises €520K in Funding

Festicket, a London, UK-based online booking platform for music festivals trips, raised around €520k (approximately $680k) in funding.

Backers included KIMA Ventures, Jacques-Antoine Granjon (CEO of venteprivee.com), #1 Seed, Playfair Capital and Windcrest Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Raj Ramanandi (CEO of #1 Seed) is now joining the board of Festicket.

The company intends to use the capital to accelerate its European growth strategy, expand the product development, sales and marketing efforts.

Founded in 2012 by Zack Sabban and Jonathan Younes, Festicket provides a platform that allows music fans to book festival full packages including ticket, accommodation, transport and extras.
The company has already partnering with more than 40 top music festivals across Europe including Tomorrowland in Belgium, Exit Festival in Serbia, Time Warp in Germany, Sziget in Hungary, Leeds and Latitude festivals in the UK.
By the end of 2013, Festicket hopes to offer over 100 different festival offers. The company is also developing distribution partnerships with online travel agencies, travel operators, media companies, festival-related websites, and student blogs.
