The fund Winch Capital 2 managed by Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners and BNP Paribas Développement are supporting several managers to acquire Reed Business Information France from Reed Elsevier.
Reed Business Information France is a group of French professional media including an eTendering management tool (DoubleTrade), press titles (Stratégies, Direction[s], CosmétiqueMag, Coiffure de Paris), a professional training activity (Comundi) and a publishing activity of practical guides (Prat éditions, ESF éditeurs).
The transaction, whose completion is subject, among other things, to the approval of the relevant authorities, aims at enabling a part of the current management team to take control of the company together with the sponsors.
It will also allow the unification of the Spanish public tenders (Maninvest and Construdatos) of Reed Elsevier into RBI France through a joint holding company.
