According to reports (read here) Distil, an Arlington, VA-based provider of a Content Protection Network (CPN), raised an additional $200k in funding.
The funds were raised via AngelList‘s Invest platform.
The financing adds to the $1.8m seed round the company had raised in January 2013 (read here).
Co-founded by CEO Rami Essaid, CTO Engin Akyol and Chief Scientist Andrew Stein, Distil provides a Content Protection Network (CPN) and a cloud-based, intelligent gatekeeper for website content. It aims to mitigate against duplicate content, improve SEO power, and accelerate the end-user experience – all while reducing server load and infrastructure demand.
