ClearFit Closes $7M Series A Funding

ClearFit, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based provider of a hiring tool for finding job applicants and predicting who will succeed, closed a $7m Series A funding.

The round was led by GrandBanks Capital and Relay Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Tim Wright, partner with GrandBanks Capital, will join the ClearFit board.

use ClearFit. The company offers a free trial that can be set up in a quarter of the time of a traditional job posting, then—with partners like Monster.com and CareerBuilder—helps find candidates.

Led by Jamie Schneiderman and Ben Baldwin, ClearFit provides construction, retail, restaurant, hospitality, and franchise customers with a hiring solution to find candidates and predict their success based on factors such as cultural fit, professional drive, human behaviors, and personal motivations.
It is used by over 8,000 businesses.
The company previously raised $1.7m in late 2012 from Relay Ventures and a group of Toronto investors.
