AgreeYa Mobility Raises Funding

AgreeYa Mobility, a Mountain View-CA-based enterprise-mobility and mobile-SI company, secured funding from Saama Capital.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the capital to expand market share for Onvelop, its enterprise mobility product.

Founded in 2011 and led by Krish Kupathil, CEO, AgreeYa Mobility released Onvelop in early 2013, following a partnership with Microsoft in November 2011.
The agreement made the company an interoperability partner with Microsoft on its server-side products like SharePoint, Lync, RDP and Print. AgreeYa Mobility also partnered with Windows Azure targeted at operators resulting in the Onvelop Cloud Platform, which unifies various partners and integrates with operators’ billing platforms; and with Samsung on the Android platform. Last year, Vodafone started distributing Onvelop to its enterprise customers through its Vodafone Business Place.
The product uses licensed Microsoft protocols to provide secure access to enterprises’ back-end systems from smartphones and tablets across multiple operating systems including iOS, Android and Windows Phone.

The company has development centers in the U.S., Canada, Poland, India, China and South Korea.
