Namo Media Raises $1.9M

Namo Media, a mobile ad startup, has raised a $1.875m in funding.

The round was led by Google Ventures with participation from Betaworks, Andreessen Horowitz, Trinity Ventures and other angel investors including Kevin Scott, Paul Buchheit, Chung-Man Tam, Keith Coleman, Seth Berman, Benjamin Ling, Michael Levit, Garrick Toubassi, and Tikhon Bernstam.

Co-founded by three ex-Googlers Gabor Cselle, Nassar Stoertz and Tural Badirkhanli, Namo Media is working on ad formats that integrate with publishers’ stream of content instead of interrupting their users or blocking the user interface.
The company is interested in partnering with publishers having stream formats like news, social and photo-sharing apps.
