Zulama Raises over $200K in Seed Funding

Zulama, a Pittsburgh, PA-based digital education company offering online high school elective courses, has raised more than $200,000 to date in its seed round, which opened in December 2012.

The company’s web site lists Amit Shah, Jodi Navta, and Tom Barber as investors in the company.

Founded in 2009 and led by CEO Nikki Navta, Zulama provides teens with in-demand expert-authored online courses on subjects they’re passionate about (such as video game design and programming) enabling schools to offer high-quality career and college prep courses.
