Wine by Joe, a Dundee, Oregon-based wine producer, received a follow-on equity financing from Bacchus Capital Management, LLC.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the capital to further expand its national and international distribution, as well as build inventory and infrastructure.
Founded in 2001 by President and Winemaker Joe Dobbes, Wine by Joe is one of the largest producers in Oregon with 214 acres of estate vineyards focusing on crafting traditional Burgundian style wine under three different brands:
– Dobbes Family Estate, a Pinot Noir label;
– Wine by Joe, an Oregon appellation label, and
– Jovino, an offering available on-premise.
In addition to the investment, the company has hired industry veteran Anthony Van Nice as Chief Operating Officer. He will be responsible for all business operations of the winery including the development and implementation of the company’s sales, marketing and strategic plans.
