Upstream Commerce Raises $3M in Funding

Upstream Commerce, a Tel-Aviv, Israel-based provider of pricing and assortment intelligence solutions for retailers, raised an additional $3m in funding.

Backers included from YL Ventures, Bright Capital and other private investors.

The company intends to use the proceeds for product and technology development.

Founded in 2010 by CEO Amos Peleg and Shai Geva, Upstream Commerce provides a cloud-based solution that uses advanced artificial intelligence, semantic analysis and data-mining technology to enable retailers to track and analyzes competitor pricing and assortment.
The company, which services customers worldwide, including top global retailers Toys “R” Us and Staples, currently tracks millions of products, and has billions of quality intelligence data points.
