Recommerce Solutions, a French provider of technology and sustainable services, raised €7.1m in funding.

Backers included Seventure Partners, CDC Entreprises (FSN PME), and 3T Capital.
The company intends to use the capital for international expansion and technology development.

Co-founded in 2009 by Pierre-Etienne Roinat, Chairman, and other three entrepreneurs, Benoît Varin, Cédric Maucourt and Antoine Jeanjan, Recommerce Solutions designs and operates white label websites for the repurchase of used mobile phones and tablets for leading brands including Bouygues Telecom, Virgin Mobile, PriceMinister, NRJ Mobile, etc.
For its partners in Europe (mainly telecom carriers, MVNO1, distributors, manufacturers and e-merchants), the company buys back electronic products, including mobile phones. They use the company’s services via websites, and in more than 5,000 sales outlets, to enable their customers to sell their old devices in exchange for a voucher or immediate cash payment.
