Morta Security, a Palo Alto, CA-based cyber security startup, raised a seed funding.
The amount was not disclosed but TechCrunch (read here) revealed that it could amount to over €1m.
Backers included Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock Partners, Norwest Venture Partners, Data Collective, Larry Link, and Peter Wagner.
Led by Raj Shah, CEO, and other executives and engineers from the National Security Agency, Morta Security is developing an innovative solution to counter advanced cyber threats. Still in stealth mode, it is hiring a UI/UX Designer and a Software Engineer (see here).
