Israeli venture capital firm Magma Venture Partners closed its third fund at over US$100m.
Magma III focuses on Israeli-related entrepreneurs looking for a partner in the in pre-seed, seed and A-rounds. It began investing in mid-2012 and has completed investments in:
– Corephotonics, a developer of smart solutions to enhance mobile device cameras;
– Xplenty, a provider of easy-to-use Big Data solutions;
– an undisclosed company that provides solutions for mobile application advertising and
– another undisclosed company that has developed a SaaS solution to secure the public cloud.
Founded in 1999 and managed by Yahal Zilka, Modi Rosen, Zvika Limon and Shraga Katz, Magma Venture Partners invests in ICT (Information, Communication and Technology), particularly in opportunities related to digital media, software as a service (SaaS), and fabless semiconductors. Portfolio companies include Waze, Onavo, and Magisto.
