Blue Sage Capital, an Austin, Texas-based private investment firm, closed its second fund, at $150m.
Investors include a diverse group of limited partners such as large financial institutions, private equity fund of funds, prominent family offices, endowed trusts and government entities.
Led by Peter Huff, Founder and Managing Member, Blue Sage Capital specializes in growth, recapitalization and buyout financings of smaller middle market companies with $10m to $100m of revenue and $3m to $10m of cash flow based in Texas and the Southwest.
The firm invests in a variety of industries, with each initial investment typically ranging from $10m to $15m.
