TrueAbility Raises $750K in Seed Funding

TrueAbility, a San Antonio-based recruiting technology startup, raised $750k in seed funding.

The round was led by Pat Condon (Rackspace co-founder) and Graham Weston (co-founder and Chairman of Rackspace (NYSE: RAX).

The company provides AbilityScreen™, a cloud-based technical assessment service used by companies and organizations worldwide to evaluate technical job candidates. It allows hiring managers and recruiters to measure a technical candidate’s ability within the technologies, platforms, vendor certifications and industry standards that their company uses today, or plans to use. AbilityScreen tests candidate’s ability to solve real issues in a live server environment.

Led Luke Owen, CEO and Dusty Jones Chief Architect, TrueAbility is currently concluding their closed beta, and are targeting mid Q1 2013 for the public release of their service.
