Ringadoc Raises $1.2M in Seed Funding

Ringadoc, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of innovative on-demand medicine solutions, raised $1.2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Founders Fund‘s FF Angel.

The company intends to use the capital to develop the ability for doctors to provide cross-coverage care and premium access to paying patients, and increase adoption from doctors.

Led by Jordan Michaels, CEO and Co-Founder, Ringadoc publicly launched its Ringadoc Exchange which provides doctors the opportunity to handle patient calls on their own schedule, using their smartphone, respond whenever and however they want.
The platform, which currently covers more than 500,000 patients in 20 states, is free for three months, then $50/month with no contract or commitment.
The app is available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play store.

Ringadoc was built with the support of EMR provider Practice Fusion. Founder and CEO Ryan Howard serves on the company’s board.
