Fulcrum Equity Partners, an Atlanta, GA-based growth equity firm, closed its second fund, at $93m.
Fulcrum Growth Fund II, LLC, which focuses on investing in growing companies in a wide variety of industries with an emphasis on information technology, healthcare and technology enabled operating companies, has already invested in eight new portfolio companies.
The firm initially invests $1m/$5m with the ability to invest up to $10m. It provides financing to meet a wide range of needs including internal growth initiatives, acquisitions, divestures, shareholder liquidity and recapitalizations.
Fulcrum Equity Partners’ $40m maiden fund, Fulcrum Fund I, LLC, invested in 11 portfolio companies, while completing 29 financings, with four successful exits.
The firm currently manages over $140m.
