Backers include Elevate Ventures, HALO Capital Group and Lawrence Ventures.
The company intends to use the capital to expand its malware intelligence product lines and increase staff in development, product management, and sales.
Founded in 2003 and and led by Ken Gramley, CEO, Emerging Threats provides open source and commercial threat and malware intelligence. The company’s ETOpen Ruleset, ETPro™ Ruleset, and IQRisk™ suite of threat intelligence are platform agnostic for integration with Suricata, SNORT®, and other network intrusion protection and detection systems.
