ServiceMax Closes Series D Funding


ServiceMax, a Pleasanton, California-based developer of a mobile and social field service application, raised an additional funding to close its Series D round.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Backers include Adams Street Partners, Crosslink Capital and existing investors Mayfield Fund, Trinity Ventures, and Emergence Capital Partners.

The company intends to use the funding to accelerate global growth.

Led by Dave Yarnold, CEO, ServiceMax provides cloud-based, social and mobile field service applications to handle contract entitlements, scheduling & workforce optimization, inventory & parts logistics and real-time customer and partner portal access.
Customers include large enterprises such as DuPont, Elekta, and Electrolux, and smaller companies such as McKinley Equipment and Advanta Clean.
