MoMinis, a Tel Aviv, Israel- and NYC-based company that provides game developers for Android on Google Play with end-to-end mobile game development solutions including comprehensive and free development tools, marketing and distribution, has secured $6m in Series B funding.
The round, which is still currently open, was led by Gemini Israel Ventures, with participation from existing investor BRM Group.
The company intends to use the capital to expand its game developer community, its offerings on platforms such as the iPhone, Windows Mobile and Facebook, and grow the team (http://www.mominis.com/careers/).
Founded in 2008 and led by Itzik Frid, CEO, MoMinis offers development and distribution tools for independent developers. The company, which operates a network of 35 million participating game players in its PlayScape game network, plans to strengthen its funding initiative that finances the development of a game with MoMinis sharing revenues and its PlayScape service that enhances the cross-game play experience for developers and gamers.
