Knowland Group, a Washington DC-based provider of meeting and convention data software and services for the hospitality industry, has received an equity investment from Serent Capital.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed but it is known that Serent acquired a minority stake in the company.
Founded by CEO Michael K. McKean, Knowland provides a database of global event data, cloud based sales & catering (S&C) software and outsourced sales services to over 3,000 hotels (and 25,000 users globally).
