Green Buildings Online Inc., a Connecticut-based online media company providing green building professional education, training and information, recently raised $150k in funding.
The funds were provided by Connecticut Innovations.
The company intends to use the new capital to develop and promote their new PoplarNetwork.com.
Led by Rob Freeman Jr., Founder and CEO, Green Buildings Online operates:
– Green-Buildings.com, which has helped over 30,000 green building professionals from over 50 countries prepare for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) examinations since 2009; and
– newly launched PoplarNetwork.com, an online professional networking site which intends to connect green building professionals with their target audience of building owners by creating a free account, posting profiles and projects, answering questions and bidding on projects.
