Fitness Interactive Experience Raises Seed Funding

Fitness Interactive Experience, a health and fitness game developer, has raised a seed funding of undisclosed amount.

The investment was made by BVM Capital.

The company intends to use the new capital to hire additional product developers.

Founded in 2012 by CEO Mike Tinney, FIX is developing an interactive social media platform designed to make the pursuit of fitness an engaging game. The company’s health activity game, UtiliFITTM (www.utilifit.com), is focused on helping people reduce sedentary behavior and live more active lives.
FIX plans to initiate closed beta testing on UtiliFIT in the coming weeks.

In conjunction with the funding, Ross P. Barrett, Managing Partner of BVM Capital, will be joining FIX’ Board of Directors.
