Citrix (NASDAQ:CTXS) has entered into an agreement to acquire Zenprise, a Redwood City, CA-based provider of mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
The sum of the deal was not disclosed (read here) but reports said it could amount to $355m.
Following the close of the acquisition, which is still subject to regulatory approval, Citrix intends to integrate the Zenprise solution for mobile device management, with its Citrix CloudGateway™ and Me@Work™ solutions for managing mobile apps and data.
Led by President and CEO Amit Pandey, Zenprise has raised venture capital from Rembrandt Venture Partners, Ignition Partners, Bay Partners, Mayfield, Shasta Ventures, Greylock Partners.
