Seeds Raises $24.7k via Fundable

Seeds, a New York-based startup that is developing a mobile game and API for microlending, has raised $24,727 in crowdfunding.

55 backers have supported the project via Fundable.

The company intends to use the funds to launch an updated version of their social microlending game for iPhone and build out Seeds for Android and build the API.

Founded by Rachel Cook and also led by former iOS Tech Lead at Zynga Amanda Wixted and game designer Brad Wiggins, Seeds was recently approved by the App Store. The team, which has already made a microloan via mobile phone in Kenya, is building an API to partner with established and developing games to bring their microlending concept to more platforms.
