MoneyFarm, a Milan, Italy-based online investment advisor, has raised €2,65m in funding from Principia SGR.
The company intends to use the funding to expand its its development efforts and grow in Italy.
Founded by CEO Paolo Galvani, Investment Director, Giovanni Daprà and Andrea Scarso, MoneyFarm.com operates as an online personal banker, which recommends users a free portfolio of investments based on their profile and goals. The company, which currently serves approximately 200 customers, is authorized by Banca d’Italia and Consob.
