MiniTime Raises $1M in Seed Funding

According to reports, MiniTime, a Los Angeles, CA-based operator of a family travel site, has raised $1m in seed funding.

Backers include Ross Levinsohn, who has also joined the company’s board of directors.

The company is using the capital to continue to grow and develop smartphone and tablet applications.

Founded in 2011 by Nimrod Lev and Oleg Sandler and led by John Smelzer, MiniTime is a travel site with recommendations for family. Users can find hand-picked kid-friendly places to stay and things to do, share travel experiences with other parents and compare prices and book vacations.
