LoveByte, a Singapore-based developer of a mobile app for couples, has closed a six figure seed funding.
Backers include Ruvento Ventures and Crystal Horse Investments.
The company intends to use the capital to expand operations in the next six to nine months, focusing on neighbouring regions.
In addition, Wish Ronquillo, creative director at mig33, has joined as an advisor to the team.
Founded in 2011 by Steve Sng, supported by the Interactive Digital Media Programme of the Media Development Authority (MDA) and funded by the National Research Foundation, LoveByte offers a free mobile application for couples to document their lives and keep these memories in a private space.
Launched as open-beta in late July 2012, the app can be downloaded at: http://lovebyte.us/getapp.
