Lift Closes $2.5M Series A Funding

Lift, a San Francisco, CA-based startup that is developing a personal motivational mobile app, has closed a $2.5m Series A funding.

The round was led by Bijan Sabet (Spark Capital), who joined the company’s board, with participation from SV Angel, Obvious Corporation, Adam Ludwin from RRE, Tony Robbins, David Allen, and Greg Yaitanes.
The company also said that seed investors in the round which it closed earlier in 2012 were Tim Ferriss, Narendra Rocherolle and Jeremy LaTrasse.

Founded in August 2011 by Tony Stubblebine and Jon Crosby, with the help of Obvious Corporation, Lift is developing an app that is designed to help users achieve their goals, track progress, and get the support of friends.
