La Más Mona Raises €217K in Seed Funding

According to local reports, La Más Mona, a Madrid, Spain-based web site that allows users to rent fashion clothes and accessories, has raised €217k in seed funding.

Backers include a group of business angels led by Rafael Sarandeses.

The company intends to use the company to launch and expand operations.

Founded by CEO Polo Villaamil, La Mas Mona is a new rental service for designer dresses and accessories in Spain. The company aims to become the preferred one-stop shop for the women with the “wardrobe full but nothing to wear” problem. To this end, it partners with well-known brands such as Loewe, Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Jorge Vazquez, Angel Schlesser, Roberto Torretta, Miguel Palacio, Felipe Varela, Closet Beba, etc.
