Invested.in Raises $830K in Seed Funding

Invested.in, a Los Angeles, CA-based developer of a white label social fundraising platform, has raised $830k in seed funding.

The round was led by Kamran Pourzanjani, with participation from Siemer Ventures, Canyon Creek Capital, Karlin Ventures, Gordon Crawford, David Carter, Mark Schwartz, Michael Liou, Chairul Irawan, Chris Grey, Steven Roussey, Alan Stern, Irv Weintraub, Steve Reich, Mark Kolokotrones, Brad Schwartz, Terry Kay and Venice, California-based startup accelerator Amplify LA, where the company gratuated in 2012 (read here).

Invested.in intends to use the capital to accelerate development, philanthropic partnerships and platform sales.

Founded in 2012 by Alon Goren, Invested.in provides individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations with a web-based platform that manages fundraising efforts from start to finish. The company also licenses the technology under a white label model to companies seeking to enter the crowdfunding space, including a number of firms building JOBS Act/equity crowdfunding portals.
It has already been used by thousands of individuals, charities and businesses including the Avril Lavigne Foundation and the UN’s GirlUp Foundation.
