Corona Labs Raises $2M in Funding

Corona Labs, a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of mobile app development solutions, has raised $2m in funding.

Backers include existing investor Merus Capital and new investor Western Technology Investment (WTI).

The company intends to use the capital to grow its mobile development framework, and grow its core team of engineers and mobile experts.

Corona Labs’ Corona SDK is a framework that enables creative professionals to build interactive mobile content To date, more than 150,000 developers worldwide have built over 20,000 games, business apps, and eBooks for iOS, Android, NOOK, and Kindle Fire devices.
