Breadcrumbs Raises $50K in Funding

Breadcrumbs, a San Diego, CA-based developer of a mobile app that provides an automatic timeline of a user’s day, using the phone’s built-in sensors, raised $50k in funding as part of the QualcommLabs@EvoNexus initiative.

QualcommLabs@EvoNexus is an incubation program sponsored by Qualcomm Labs, the wholly owned incubator subsidiary of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (QTI), and operating within the walls of the CommNexus incubator, EvoNexus.

Founded by Joel Drotleff, Breadcrumbs Breadcrumbs provides an app that works as an automatic timeline. It uses GPS to record the places users have been and how long they have spent there. It is integrated with Foursquare and availble for Android and iOS.
Breadcrumbs will also receive free accommodation within EvoNexus’ office locations for up to two years. There, the team will work with experienced employees designated by Qualcomm Labs and will have access to industry experts and investment professionals to develop their products.
